Community Notification: Friends of the Boat School preparing application for a U.S. EPA Brownfield Cleanup Grant

Friends of the Boat School is actively working to prepare an application for a United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Brownfield Cleanup Grant for the Boat School Site located at 16 Deep Cove Road, Eastport Maine.  The DRAFT Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) is available for review at the link below and an advertised public meeting was held to discuss the ABCA on October 14, 2021.

Further comments or questions can be submitted through the CONTACT tab at the top right of this website.  Additionally, the cleanup grant application documents can be reviewed upon request through the same CONTACT tab or by emailing info@theboatschool.org directly.  Written comments and questions can also be submitted to Friends of The Boat School, 16 Deep Cove Road, P.O. Box 16, Eastport, ME 04631.

A public meeting to discuss the pending Application, ABCA, and Public Comments on the Application or the ABCA will be held on Monday, November 15 at 2:00pm at the Eastport Port Authority Conference Room 2nd level.
